Police are meant to protect and serve but in the case of Nigerian Police Force, they are a hazard to the citizens of the country, if they are called at crime scenes they arrive late and arrest the available innocent observer at the crime scene.
The police have as well turned their various check points to revenue generating toll gates, in fact they create a check point at unnecessary points obstructing traffic,
in Lagos it was an unfortunate day for this police man who illegally extorted money from a trailer driver and in the process of extortion an it caused a serious accident.
The angry mob decided to deal with the policeman who was accused of
causing an accident in Lagos traffic as he was caught extorting money
from one of the trailer drivers involved in the accident... see photos below
